Interpreting a Birth Chart

A) In your birth chart, the house number is fixed. Please refer below Birth Chart Format.

B) Your first House represents the rising or ascendant sign. This is denoted by its number. Refer below chart for the rashi signs. Here, Taurus ascendant kundali is shown as an example. As Taurus is the second number sign as per the chart, No. 2 is written in the first house of Kundali.

B) Here, we are considering example of Taurus Ascendant Sign.

     So '2' will be written in 1st House of kundali as Taurus is Rashi no.2 as per the chart.

​

    Its to be written in 1st house as this house is the ascendant house. 

    Following Rashi numbers will be written from 2 onwards in the houses of kundali in anticlockwise direction.

         

    Planet ruling each Rashi has to be written along with that Rashi in the same house.
