Bar Graph and Zonal Strength

Screenshot2021-05-07173414_1200x1200 (1).webp

Directional Strength of all 16 Zones plays very important role on Vastu Dosha effects.

Directional Strength can be calculated through Bar Graph Chart. This strength is invisible & must be tested to understand the actual hidden cause of Vastu Dosha in a particular house.

Zonal Bar Graphs are essential in Vastu design because they provide a clear, visual representation of the energy flow in different areas of a building. By plotting this information, homeowners, and designers can easily see where adjustments are needed to enhance the overall harmony of the space.

Method to draw this Bar Chart

  • Mark the zones on your floor plan either manually or from the Vastu Chakra.

  • Do not forget to consider the Tilt, if any in the North. This tilt in the North can be measured from the Google Earth as explained earlier.

  • Take print out of this Floor Plan with Zone marking on a Graph paper.

  • Write down no. of boxes present in each zone.

  • Mark the Zones with maximum number of boxes and minimum number of boxes. We will need this later.

Please consider the below example to calculate the Max Line and Min Line in the bar graph.

NNW  -   95

N        -   115

NNE   -   65

NE      -   95

ENE    -  65

E         -   40

ESE    -   09

SE       -  15

SSE     -  95

S          -  14

SSW    -   27

SW       -  60

W         -   40

WSW   -   65

WNW   -   65

NW       -  45

Total     -  915

Average Line = Total Count / Total Directions

                      =  915/16

                      =  57.18

Max Line       = (Average Line + Max. Count) / 2

                      = (57.18 + 115)/2

                      = 172.18/2

                      =  86.09

Min Line        = (Average Line + Min. Count)/2

                      = (57.18 + 9)/2

                      = 66.18

                      = 33.09

  • Plot these counts of the Zones with proper scale on a Graph Paper with Min, Avg and Max Line to see the imbalances and their amount.

  • Either treat/balance the zones which are exceeding the Max Line or preceding the Min Line.

Note:  Do not treat both the zones.
